Job summary
A specialist subcontractor in the UK is seeking a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage contracts and drive commercial performance. This role involves ensuring project success through effective budgeting, contract negotiation, and relationship management. Qualifications
- Proven QS/SQS experience within construction or civil engineering.
- Strong knowledge of contract management, NEC experience desirable.
- Proactive and detail-driven individual.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage costs from tender through to the final account.
- Prepare valuations, variations, and commercial reports.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts.
- Monitor budgets and project governance.
- Support bids and tenders with commercial input.
Skills
Are you a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience in managing contracts and commercial performance? - Proven QS/SQS experience within construction, civil engineering, or specialist subcontracting
