A leading care organization is seeking passionate Care Assistants for The Sandford Nursing Home in Church Stretton. You will assist elderly residents with daily activities while promoting their independence. The position offers comprehensive training, 5.6 weeks of annual leave, and other benefits. We currently have a great opportunity for Care Assistants to join our Care Plus team at The Sandford Nursing Home on a permanent basis. We’re looking for a caring, dedicated professional to bring our values to life and ensure our customers receive outstanding services.
The Sandford Nursing Home, Church Stretton, Shropshire is a place our residents call home. It’s a happy, welcoming atmosphere set amongst the Shropshire hills with luxurious accommodation and expert, nursing‑led care.
As a Care Assistant, you will work within the nursing team assisting elderly residents with normal activities of daily life, promoting their independence and maintaining their dignity and respect.
You will assist residents with all aspects of everyday life. This will involve assisting with personal hygiene including washing and using the toilet, assistance with diet and nutritional requirements as well as helping the promotion and stimulation of mental and physical activity.
