TeacherActive is proud to be working with a expanding school nursery in Wideopen. The nursery is well sought-after, due to its outdoor forest area, and boasts an good OFSTED rating. The nursery focuses on providing exceptionally high standards of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care, whilst utilising the best pedagogical approaches to ensure well-rounded individuals are prepared for their next big adventure Primary School.

We are looking for a Room Leader, to join on a long-term basis with the opportunity to go permanent for the right Room Leader. The nursery caters for children ages 9 Months to 3 years. You will need to be confident in formulating and operating a program of activities suitable for the range of children attending the nursery, in conjunction with the Headteacher, therefore a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum is essential. The right Room Leader will also show confidence in observations, age and stage checks, and updating this alongside each childs learning plan regularly.

The successful Room Leader will have:

• Level 3 Early Years or equivalent qualification (required)
• Minimum 1 years experience in nurseries / room leading

• Reliability and a can-do attitude
• Adaptability and flexibility
