Job summary

A leading facility management company in Glasgow is looking for an experienced Shift Leader. In this role, you will lead an engineering team, oversee electrical and mechanical systems, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Candidates must be fully electrically qualified, have strong leadership skills, and experience with HV systems. This position offers a permanent contract with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Must be fully electrically qualified as per industry standards.
  • Experience in HV systems and UPS operations is required.
  • Experience with electrical installation work, testing, and inspection is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the engineering team during shifts to ensure smooth operations.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance according to schedules.
  • Respond to electrically related reactive maintenance issues promptly.
  • Conduct technical surveys of plant and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety requirements and quality assurance.
