A community care service provider is seeking Bank Support Workers in Hetton-le-Hole to offer 24/7 support for individuals with autism and learning difficulties. The role involves enabling a fulfilling life through practical and emotional support, promoting well-being and participation in community activities. We are looking for Bank Support Workers covering days, evenings, nights, and weekends in Hetton-le-Hole, Tyne and Wear.
Support is required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We specialise in residential care, supported living and outreach services supporting people with autism and learning difficulties. We constantly strive to provide homes with a relaxed atmosphere that promotes individuality, giving each person we support the right to dignity, choice, privacy and independence.
We champion the integration of people into the community, by using local facilities such as shops, cafes, libraries, public houses and leisure centres – drawing on public and private transport for outings or holidays.

You will be required to undergo relevant pre-employment checks including an enhanced DBS check. This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
