Salary: 90-110 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Are you an experienced HLTA with a passion for supporting pupils with medical needs? Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a forward-thinking school in the Kettering area that is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to provide tailored support for pupils with complex medical conditions.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children who require specialist care alongside their education.
Provide targeted support to students with medical needs, ensuring their health plans are followed effectively.
Work closely with school staff, external medical professionals, and families to coordinate care and learning.
Deliver small group and 1:1 interventions under the direction of the SENCO and teaching staff.
Support classroom teachers in adapting resources and strategies to ensure inclusivity.
Monitor and record student progress, maintaining accurate and confidential records.
HLTA qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
Experience supporting children with medical conditions in an educational setting.
A sound understanding of EHCPs and individual health care plans (IHCPs).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive, calm, and compassionate approach to supporting vulnerable learners.
