Are you a qualified primary school HLTA ready to make a real impact? We're recruiting dynamic educators to bring experience, skill, and professionalism to primary schools across Hinckley, Leicestershire.
- Professional Development and Collaboration
- Liaising with parents, teachers, and other professionals (e.g., SENCOs, therapists).
- Attending staff meetings and training sessions.
- Acting as a role model for other TAs and sometimes mentoring junior support staff.
- Classroom Management
- Supervising a class during short-term teacher absence or while the teacher is working with another group.
- Managing pupil behaviour in line with school policy.
- Creating a positive, supportive learning environment.
- Pastoral Support
- Providing emotional support and encouragement to pupils.
- Promoting inclusion and positive behaviour.
- Supporting pupils with personal, social, or emotional challenges.
- HLTA qualification (essential).
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- A minimum of 2 years\' UK HLTA experience.
- Excellent safeguarding knowledge, as well as safeguarding training (we can provide training).
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- References covering the last two years of employment.
- Flexible working options.
