We are seeking a SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team. This farm-based role offers a unique learning environment that blends the outdoors, creativity, and sustainability.
- Monday 08:30-15:30
- Tuesday 08:30-15:30
- Friday 08:30-15:30
This role is part time with a view to increase to full time.
- Work closely with another staff member to plan and deliver personalized, engaging lessons tailored to the pupil's individual needs and learning goals.
- Incorporate outdoor learning, nature, and sustainability into teaching, sparking curiosity and creativity.
- Collaborate on hands‑on projects such as building bird boxes, gardening, and other nature‑inspired activities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where the pupil can thrive.
- Adapt teaching strategies to align with the pupil's SEN requirements and personal interests.
- NQT or Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification or PGCE
- Proven experience working with SEN pupils, including those with diverse learning needs.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
- A passion for the outdoors, nature, and sustainability, and the ability to incorporate these themes into learning – essential
- Creativity and enthusiasm for developing new ideas and engaging projects.
- Familiar with EOTAS packages
