A leading local authority in Hounslow is seeking an experienced Advanced Social Worker to lead their Intake Team. You will manage complex cases, mentor junior staff, and ensure high-quality outcomes for children and families. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statutory social work, excellent leadership skills, and be registered with Social Work England. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our Intake Team as an Advanced Social Worker.
We are seeking experienced and motivated Social Workers to join our Front Line Assessment and Duty Team, a fast-paced and dynamic service that plays a critical role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families at the point of referral.
This team acts as the first point of contact for new referrals, carrying out timely and robust Child and Family Assessments, including Section 17 and Section 47 enquiries. Our practitioners work closely with children, families, partner agencies, and professionals to gather information, assess risks, and determine appropriate next steps — whether that’s offering early help, initiating child protection procedures, or stepping down to universal services.
