An innovative maritime technology company in Portsmouth is seeking a UAV Engineer to develop and prototype Unmanned Aerial Systems. The ideal candidate will work on mechanical, electrical, and system-level design, bringing a pragmatic approach to engineering challenges. This full-time, permanent role offers a salary ranging from £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience. Applicants should possess a relevant degree and experience with UAS.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years applicable work experience.
  • Professional or hobbyist experience with unmanned aerial systems.
  • Experience with UAS sensors and flight controllers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of special-purpose Unmanned Aerial Systems.
  • Rapid prototyping of UAS systems and subsystems.
  • Support the execution of test and validation activities.

Education
