A procurement and supply chain firm is seeking a Purchasing Manager in Egginton CP, UK. Our client is committed to efficiency, innovation, and operational excellence. They are looking for a Purchasing Manager who can take ownership of site level procurement, keep suppliers performing, and maintain a smooth and cost effective supply chain.
As Purchasing Manager, you will lead a team of three and manage a site budget of around £10 million. Your focus will be on production buying and keeping the supply chain moving without disruption. You will work closely with internal teams and global procurement to support strategy, improve supplier performance, and keep materials flowing to plan.
This role is centred on production buying. It demands close attention to system accuracy and day to day oversight to keep materials on track. You must ensure the team raises orders on time, secures supplier confirmations, and flags any supplier who misses commitments. You will keep the team focused on system alerts and push for quick supplier follow up.
