Job summary
A leading contractor is seeking a Site Engineer with PTS certification for a rail infrastructure project in Battersea, Greater London. The ideal candidate will have experience in civils and RC structures, capable of reading drawings and managing project information. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role. Responsibilities include monitoring the site team, ensuring construction complies with specifications, and maintaining project QA. Qualifications
- Must have PTS certification.
- Previous experience on rail projects focusing on civils and RC structures.
- Competent in Auto Cad and reading technical drawings.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage project information for the site team.
- Ensure construction meets the latest design specifications.
- Conduct Quality Assurance and maintain site diary.
Skills
Gortmore are working with a leading contractor who are looking for a Site Engineer with PTS on a Rail infrastructure project in the Battersea area.
The candidate must :
- Must have PTS.
- Have Previous experience working on Rail projects working on Civils, RC Structures, service / drainage installation, etc.
- Monitoring, manage, distribute project information to site team and ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control is being carried out.
- Ensure the works are constructed to latest design and agreed Specification.
- Ensure Project QA is being carried out and site diary is maintained.
- Must be competent in Auto Cad, reading drawings and quantifying / ordering materials such as Concrete, rebar, drainage / earthworks materials etc.
- Carry out ITP’s, KPI’s, RFI’s, etc.
- Must be competent in Auto Cad, reading drawings and quantifying materials.
- Have excellent communication skills and in distributing project information to work colleagues.
- Have excellent problem-solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues
