Job Title: Project Engineer

Location: Clacton-On-Sea

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Technical Lead to support the design, development, and delivery of mechanical and thermal engineering systems. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in all stages of the engineering process.

• Oversee and support the preparation of technical drawings and specifications
\
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure project alignment
\
• Assist with system design based on customer requirements
\
• Supervise CAD Technician(s) and ensure design compliance with standards
\
• Conduct occasional site visits for surveys and client meetings
\
• Support the Sales Team with technical input for quotations
\
• Provide technical descriptions of products and components
\
• Ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date
\

\
• Strong mechanical knowledge (steam, process, or thermal systems)
\
• Ability to read and explain technical drawings to clients
\
• Effective communication skills – face-to-face, phone, and email
\
• Organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks
\
• Familiarity with design software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor
\
