A leading construction company in the UK is seeking a Site Supervisor to assist in the delivery of railway projects. The role involves management of site operations, ensuring project quality and safety standards, and coordinating with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of construction management experience, ideally in railway projects, and possesses strong leadership and communication skills. JSS Rail has been appointed on the Eastern Region Minor Emerging Works and Minor Projects up to £600k framework. The role of Site Supervisor is to assist in the delivery of these works, ideally based in north-central England. Projects typically range between £30k and £600k for Network Rail.
The role reports to the Contracts Manager and/or Project Manager and is responsible for the on-site programme in respect of delivery, workmanship and safety, ensuring adequate labour, plant, materials, and sub-contractor resources are available to meet contract requirements. The role involves supporting pre-construction with the Contracts Management team in producing and collating H&S paperwork for specific projects, including Task Briefs, Work Package Plans and Construction Phase Plans.
