Beatson Cancer Charity is seeking a motivated, dynamic, and relationship‑focused Corporate Fundraiser to join their passionate fundraising team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of Scotland’s most respected cancer charities – helping businesses make a meaningful difference to the lives of patients and families affected by cancer.

As Corporate Fundraiser, you will play a vital role in building and managing partnerships between Beatson Cancer Charity and the corporate sector. You will identify and develop new business relationships, while nurturing existing ones to deliver mutually beneficial results. Whether securing donations, event sponsorships, or in‑kind support, your creativity and enthusiasm will help ensure that Beatson’s life‑changing services can continue to thrive.

About Beatson Cancer Charity

Beatson Cancer Charity supports and enhances the treatment, care, and wellbeing of current, former, and future cancer patients and their families. Working in partnership with NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde, The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre, and associated facilities, the charity ensures that people affected by cancer receive the very best support throughout their journey.

At Beatson, you’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive team that believes in compassion, innovation, and partnership. The charity offers the wider community a unique opportunity to contribute to the fight against cancer – ensuring every supporter and partner can see the real difference their involvement makes.

What will you do as Corporate Fundraiser?

You will take ownership of building strong, sustainable corporate relationships that generate vital income and engagement opportunities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Researching, identifying, and approaching new corporate partners to secure long‑term support.
  • Managing and developing relationships with existing corporate supporters, providing excellent stewardship.
  • Creating compelling proposals and presentations that inspire business engagement and investment.
  • Coordinating corporate fundraising activity across regional campaigns and events.
  • Attending networking events to raise awareness and build connections within the business community.
  • Exploring non‑financial partnerships such as gifts in kind, volunteering initiatives, and sponsorships.
  • Working collaboratively with Marketing & Communications to promote campaigns and events.
  • Ensuring all activity aligns with charity policies, including GDPR, safeguarding, and health & safety.
What does Beatson Cancer Charity need from you?

You will be a proactive, confident relationship‑builder who thrives in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment. You’ll bring enthusiasm for Beatson’s mission and the ability to inspire others to get involved.

Experience
  • Background in fundraising, sales, events, hospitality or a similar relationship‑focused role.
  • Proven success in achieving income or sales targets and managing partnerships.
  • Experience of working in a fast‑moving environment with competing priorities.
  • Familiarity with CRM databases and digital communication tools.
  • Valid driving licence required.
Key Skills and Attributes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
  • Creative thinker with an eye for opportunity and collaboration.
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and results oriented.
  • Passionate about Beatson’s cause and motivated to make a real difference.
What is in it for you?
  • 40 days annual leave (inclusive of public holidays)
  • 7% employer / 3% employee pension contribution
  • Supportive, collaborative, and passionate team culture
  • Opportunities for personal and professional development
  • The chance to represent a leading Scottish charity and make a tangible impact on cancer care

This is more than a job – it’s an opportunity to be part of something bigger. If you’re ready to make a difference and thrive in a fast‑paced, rewarding environment, we’d love to hear from you.
