Reports To: Project Manager & Projects Director
Working hours: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE
Wright Engineering are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join their expanding projects team. The successful candidate will support the delivery of a variety of engineering projects, coordinating design progress, liaising with clients, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification.
- Collaborate with the projects team to plan, manage, and deliver complex engineering schemes.
- Organise and conduct regular reviews of engineering design progress against project schedules.
- Communicate project status, updates, and technical information effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, including design proposals, technical reports, and project plans.
- Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders throughout project development, ensuring alignment and timely approvals.
- Support the delivery of works on-site, ensuring compliance with design and quality standards.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an engineering environment.
- Strong technical communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage effectively at various levels within an organisation.
- Educated to degree level, or working towards, in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
- Experience with design processes and proficiency in AutoCAD.
