A faith-based charity is looking for a Healthcare & Wellbeing Co-ordinator in Greater London to advocate for the welfare of priests. This full-time role involves overseeing care packages and liaising with healthcare providers. Candidates should be registered nurses with strong pastoral and counselling experience, willing to travel frequently. A full driving licence is required. The offer includes a salary of £35,000 per annum with a variety of benefits.

They are now looking for a Healthcare & Wellbeing Co-ordinator to join them on a full-time, permanent basis, working Monday – Friday, 9 : 00am – 5 : 00pm.

As a Healthcare & Wellbeing Co-ordinator, you will act as an advocate and advisor for the welfare of sick and retired priests, ensuring they receive high-quality, dignified, and appropriate support.
Specifically, you will oversee care and support packages for priests, and determine whether provision meets required standards. You will not be required to deliver any direct care.
By liaising with committees, external agencies, healthcare professionals, and insurers, you will help priests navigate complex health and social care systems, serving as an advocate for them and representing their needs.
You will ensure the right combination of pastoral, practical, and clinical support is in place, conducting holistic care needs assessments and making recommendations to improve quality when needed.

Due to the nature of the work and the need to provide personal and pastoral support in sensitive environments, this post is restricted to female applicants only. This is a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010. You will also need to pass an enhanced DBS check.
