Job summary
A healthcare provider in Shrewsbury is seeking a Senior Emergency Nurse to lead a team providing high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department. This role requires existing Band 6 qualifications and strong leadership skills. Candidates will have the opportunity to develop their expertise while impacting the quality of care provided. This is a chance for you to make a real difference to patient care whilst developing your knowledge and skills of working in an Emergency Department further.
Members of the Senior Nursing Team will require strong management and leadership qualities, whilst overseeing the team to deliver the highest possible patient care. It will support the Department Matron to drive forward evidence based practice and take responsibility for the supervision of staff and the policies and practices that operate within their clinical area.
The post holder to lead and develop a team of nurses assigned to them whilst impacting on all the nurses in the department. There is a significant focus on The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust's (SaTH's) ED quality agenda which is monitored strictly by the CQC.
It is advocated you will participate in cross site working.
