Job summary

Anson McCade Pty is seeking a senior Zero Trust Security Architect to deliver modern security architectures for a global tech consultancy across the UK. You will translate business requirements into practical designs, shaping security transformations and improving access controls.

The role requires deep expertise in identity, device trust, network security and privileged access controls, with hybrid working arrangements and a salary up to £100,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing Zero Trust solutions.
• Understanding of identity and access management, least privilege, conditional access, and privileged access controls.
• Experience across cloud, hybrid infrastructure and network security.
• Ability to develop architecture designs, roadmaps and security patterns.
• Experience engaging with technical teams and senior stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Microsoft security technologies (Entra ID, Conditional Access, Defender) is a plus.

Zero Trust Security Architect | UK Wide | Up to £100,000

I'm working with a leading global technology consultancy looking to appoint a Zero Trust Security Architect to support the delivery of security architecture and transformation programmes across its client base.

This is an opportunity for an experienced security architect with a strong background in Zero Trust to shape and deliver modern security solutions, helping organisations strengthen access controls, reduce attack surfaces and improve their overall security posture.

The role will involve working with client stakeholders and technical teams to translate security requirements into practical architecture designs, supporting organisations through complex security transformation initiatives.

The role

• Design and develop Zero Trust security architectures aligned with business requirements and security objectives.
• Define security principles and reference architectures covering identity, access management, device trust, network segmentation and application access.
• Lead architecture discussions and workshops with clients, translating business and technical requirements into scalable security solutions.
• Work across identity-centric security, conditional access, least-privilege access, privileged access management and modern network security.
• Support the integration of Zero Trust principles into existing enterprise environments and wider security transformation programmes.
• Produce high-level and low-level architecture designs, technical documentation and implementation roadmaps.
• Work closely with security engineering, infrastructure, cloud and identity teams to support successful solution delivery.
• Advise senior stakeholders on architecture decisions, security risks and the practical implementation of Zero Trust principles.

What we're looking for

• Strong experience in security architecture, with demonstrable experience designing and implementing Zero Trust solutions.
• A solid understanding of identity and access management, least privilege, conditional access and privileged access controls.
• Experience designing security solutions across complex enterprise environments, including cloud, hybrid infrastructure and network security.
• The ability to develop architecture designs, technical roadmaps and security patterns that can be implemented in practice.
• Experience engaging with technical teams, architects and senior client stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts and justify architectural decisions.

Experience with Microsoft security technologies, including Entra ID, Conditional Access, Defender and related security capabilities, would be beneficial, alongside familiarity with frameworks such as NIST Zero Trust Architecture.

Package: Up to £100,000, depending on experience, plus benefits.

Location: UK-wide, with hybrid working arrangements.
