Harris Church of England Academy invites applications for a zero hours invigilator to support examinations, including internal and GCSEs. Responsabilidades

• Invigilate internal and GCSE examinations in line with awarding body regulations
• Prepare the examination room and check materials against the examination checklist
• Complete attendance registers and act on non-attendance
• Supervise entry to and exit from the examination room
• Ensure JCQ, exam board and school conduct rules are followed
• Report any breach or suspected breach of security to the Examinations Officer immediately
• Start and stop examinations on time and make allowance for students entitled to extra time
• Check desks for graffiti and take appropriate action
• Distribute and collect materials as directed by the Examinations Officer
• Organise completed scripts in register order and hand ordered scripts to the Examinations Officer
• Clear up after examinations
• Sign in and out at Reception under school safety procedures and follow reasonable instructions from the Examinations Officer or Headteacher

This zero hours invigilator post at Harris Church of England Academy is casual, hours-as-needed cover for examinations, with the start date still to be confirmed. The work centres on preparing, invigilating and clearing up internal and GCSE exams in line with awarding body rules, under the Examinations Officer. Invigilators check materials, keep registers, supervise room entry and exit and report any security breach straight away, and the post is line managed by the Senior Leader for Exams. An enhanced DBS check and right to work in the UK are required, and visa sponsorship is not available.
