Job summary

Compass Group UK is recruiting Bar Personnel - Zero Hours to help us craft beautifully presented drinks and deliver exceptional customer service for Defence sites on a casual basis, contracted to 0 hours per week.

You will handle drink preparation, maintain bar service, keep the area clean, and engage with customers. We expect excellent communication, reliability, and a proactive approach to serving Defence customers while upholding food hygiene and health & safety standards.

Qualifications

• Brilliant communicator and excellent customer service mindset.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly.
• Demonstrated reliability and timekeeping in shift work.
• Positive attitude with willingness to take initiative.
• Ability to adapt to busy service periods.

Responsibilities

• Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
• Maintaining an effective bar service with an emphasis on high-quality, efficient service
• Keeping the bar area clean
• Having a perfect knowledge of all beverages served in the bar, how to prepare them and how they should be presented
• Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards)
• Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator
• Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
