PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £65,000 - £75,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The BBC Youth Audiences team is looking for a YouTube Factual Editor to help grow the BBC’s impact on YouTube with factual storytelling designed for 16-24 y/o audiences.
In this role you’ll lead the editorial vision, oversee publishing, and shape new digital-first formats — working with internal stakeholders and independent producers to make the BBC’s factual storytelling thrive on YouTube.
You’ll combine editorial rigour with creative flair, ensuring content feels relevant and engaging while upholding the BBC’s values of impartiality and trust.
The role sits in BBC Content and reports to the Executive Producer – Digital Innovation, Gaming & Creator Content.
