Support Worker for young people with emotional, behavioural and social difficulties.

KS2, KS3 and KS4.

An alternative provision for children aged 8 to 16 in Wokingham are looking for a Youth Worker to support the social skills, emotional wellbeing and mental health of the students within their school. The school provides an alternative education for children who have social & emotional difficulties such as anxiety and school refusal due to developmental trauma and adverse childhood experiences, as well as specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia and dyscalculia. The Youth Worker will be working to build relationships with these young people and support them to make positive life choices using de-escalation, positive reinforcement and restorative practice.
