Youth Support Worker
Salary: £32,350–£34,350 per year (inclusive of sleep-in and complex care allowances.
Contract: Full-time, permanent.
About The Role
  • Support children and young people (ages 8-17) in a residential care setting.
  • Work as part of a small, caring team providing daily guidance and support.
  • Assist with daily routines, including school runs, appointments, and recreational activities.
  • Support young people with life skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care.
  • Complete necessary administrative tasks and maintain accurate records.
  • Work a shift-based schedule, including overnight sleep-ins (additional pay provided).
Candidate Requirements
  • Must be 22 years or older (legal requirement)
  • Passion for working with children and young people, with or without prior experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Full UK manual driving licence required.
  • Willing to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
