A community support organization in Coseley is seeking a dedicated Youth Worker to enhance youth provision by creating safe and engaging spaces. Responsibilities include delivering after-school sessions and providing mentorship. Candidates must complete an enhanced DBS check. We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Youth Worker to join our team in enhancing our youth provision within Wrens Nest, Dudley by creating safe and engaging spaces for young people to thrive. You will be responsible for delivering a timetable of after-school sessions, Monday to Thursday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, aimed at providing both group work and 1‑to‑1 mentoring.
You will need to be available 4 pm‑7 pm due to varied sessions and available Saturday daytimes.
Our projects cater to a wide range of ages and abilities, with all activities co‑produced with the young people themselves to ensure they are both fun and meaningful. These sessions will not only be a source of enjoyment but also a space for targeted interventions to support young people in reaching their full potential.
It is required that the successful applicant will complete an enhanced DBS check before starting the role.
