Job summary

Cambian Group Plc is the UK's largest independent provider of care and education for children and young people. This role involves supporting the welfare and development of young people, with duties spanning practical care, emotional support and safeguarding.

You will work as part of a team in a 365-day schedule, attending meetings, maintaining records, and promoting positive outcomes for service users. Training including an induction and DBS checks are provided as part of employment.

Qualifications

• Duties relate to caring for young people and safeguarding welfare.
• Ability to work in a rota system, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Attend to practical needs (cooking, cleaning) and build positive relationships with young people.
• Provide 1:1 support to address past and present difficulties and help them achieve goals.
• Record keeping and reporting for planning meetings and reviews.
• Assist in education and extracurricular activities and support community links.
