Job summary

Horizon Care Ltd in Burnley is seeking a dedicated Youth Support Worker to help young people transition to independent living. You will provide emotional and practical support, contribute to safeguarding, and work with education, training and employment pathways.

This role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins, plus a driving license and access to a vehicle. You will join a supportive team committed to real living wage, ongoing training and comprehensive induction.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable young people.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and assessment skills.
• Ability to be resilient and empathetic when working with our young people.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to be able to work shifts that include evenings, weekends and sleep ins.
• A driving license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

As a Youth Support Worker you will be helping young people transition to independent living, duties include:
