Job summary

Blend Youth Project, run by Valley CIDS, is seeking a dedicated Youth Worker to support delivery across multiple sites in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. You will help engage young people, promote personal and social development, and create safe spaces in local communities.

The role requires flexible hours including evenings and weekends, a full UK driving license, and a commitment to safeguarding and equal opportunities in youth work. Salary ranges per hour.

Qualifications

• Able to build positive relationships with young people and act as a role model.
• Able to engage and motivate young people across individuals and groups.
• Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in youth work.
• Proficient ICT skills and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with young people in various contexts.
• Deliver and evaluate youth work programmes across multiple sites.
• Contribute to planning, delivery and quality assurance activities.
• Signpost to additional support and manage safeguarding requirements.
• Support with off-site activities and premises management.
