Job summary

Tottenham Hotspur Girls Academy is seeking an ETC Strength & Conditioning Coach (Casual) to deliver engaging, age-appropriate conditioning sessions within the club's development framework in London. You will collaborate with coaching and medical staff to support long-term athletic development and safe progression.

Evening and weekend availability is required to support training, fixtures and tournaments, with a focus on fundamental movement, speed, power, and injury prevention while maintaining

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and age-appropriate strength and conditioning sessions in line with the Tottenham Hotspur Girls Academy physical development philosophy and The FA Emerging Talent Centre framework
• Support the long-term athletic development of players, considering age, maturation, training experience and individual needs
• Develop fundamental movement competency, strength, speed, power, agility, coordination and mobility appropriate to the developmental stage of each player
• Support the delivery of individual physical development programmes in collaboration with coaching and multidisciplinary staff
• Contribute to Individual Development Plans (IDPs), providing appropriate physical development objectives and feedback
• Support the physical preparation of players for training, fixtures, festivals and tournaments
• Assist with the delivery of pre-training and post-training physical development activities where required
• Support appropriate injury prevention strategies in collaboration with medical and sports science staff
• Support the safe progression of players returning from injury, working within the guidance of the medical and multidisciplinary team
• Monitor player engagement and physical development, maintaining accurate records where required
• Contribute to the collection and recording of relevant physical testing and monitoring information
• Communicate effectively with coaches and multidisciplinary staff regarding player physical needs and training requirements
• Provide clear and age-appropriate feedback and education to players to encourage ownership of their physical development
• Contribute to player reviews and provide relevant observations to support individual development
• Support talent identification activities where appropriate, providing observations on physical development and potential
• Maintain a high standard of organisation within the strength and conditioning environment, ensuring equipment is safe, clean and in good working order
• Attend relevant Academy meetings, CPD events and coach development opportunities
• Support Academy fixtures, festivals, tournaments and events as required.
• Ensure all activity is delivered in accordance with Club safeguarding, health & safety, equality, diversity and inclusion policies
• Act as a positive ambassador for Tottenham Hotspur at all times
• Be available to work evenings, weekends and travel where required
