Job summary

A children's activity organization seeks an Activity Leader to plan and deliver engaging sports sessions for children and young people in Craigavon. The ideal candidate will have experience coaching, a full clean driving license, and the ability to create an inclusive environment. This role offers 25 hours per week, with pay ranging from £7.55 to £12.21 per hour depending on age and qualifications. Candidates should have relevant coaching qualifications and complete an enhanced Access NI check.

Qualifications

• One year experience in delivering coaching sessions with both adults and young people.
• Enhanced Access NI checks must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured, fun, and challenging sports sessions.
• Ensure safety standards are met and equipment is used appropriately.
• Create an inclusive space where all participants feel supported.
• Collaborate with schools for holistic development.

Skills

Strong knowledge of nutrition and health

Ability to coach a range of sports/activities

Full clean driving license with access to own vehicle

Experience in delivering coaching sessions

Completed a Safeguarding Course

Education

Two Foundation coaching qualifications or equivalent
