Job summary

Aspris Residential Care is seeking a motivated Residential Support Worker at Paperbag Cottage in Lymington, on the edge of the New Forest. You will help keep a warm, homely environment for up to four young people, supporting their physical, social and emotional wellbeing and helping them build confidence and independence.

A full UK driving licence is required for this role. We offer continuous CPD and development opportunities, and a clear pathway to progression.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• High attention to detail essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, nurturing environment for up to four young people at Paperbag Cottage.
• Take young people on activities, visits to friends, cinema trips and community events.
• Teach young people to cook and encourage independence and life skills.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with the young people and staff.
• Ensure accurate, detailed data and incident disclosures are handled according to procedures.
