A well-regarded recruitment agency in London is looking for a Youth Mental Health Support Worker to support students with mental health and special educational needs in mainstream and SEN schools. The role involves engaging with students both in and outside the classroom, ensuring their well-being and development. Full-time commitment for the academic year is required, with pay ranging from £90 to £112 per day based on experience.

In recent years there is a massive focus on supporting the mental health and SEN needs of pupils in mainstream and SEN schools. We are currently seeking practitioners to support these pupils on a 1:1 or general classroom basis to start ASAP, for the rest of the Academic Year in a range of schools across Romford (with an option of progressing onto contract with the right school).
As a Youth Mental Health Support Worker, you will be involved in not only supporting pupils within the classroom but will also be comfortable with running activities with the pupil/s outside the classroom as well. Alongside the class teacher, you will also provide support with ensuring the right support is in place for the students.
This position is on a full-time basis and full support and guidance will be given. There will also be opportunities to complete additional training whilst in the role. Pay is 90-112 per day, based on experience.
