Job summary

An educational support organization in Swindon is seeking a Youth Mental Health Advocate. The role supports vulnerable students, encouraging their personal growth and educational success. Candidates should be confident and enthusiastic; previous experience is beneficial but not essential. Full training will be provided, and the position offers a daily rate of £80 to £90. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 3:30.

A brilliant SEN education setting in Swindon are excited to welcome a Youth Mental Health Advocate this April (Term 5). The school are dedicated to maintaining a supportive, nurturing environment where students can express themselves freely and receive the support they need. Students attending the school are aged 11-14 year olds and face challenges regarding social, emotional and mental health needs. The Youth Mental Health Advocate role is a crucial position within the school’s community.

Main Responsibilities of a Youth Mental Health Advocate :
  • Using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage students
