The Role: Please note that this role sits with Hampshire Youth Justice Service (YJS). The Youth Justice Service is a multi‑disciplinary team delivering services to prevent and reduce offending behaviour amongst young people. This role will find you working with children known to the YJS, and the harmed people of their crimes, to discuss the impact of their offences and to explore the possibility of their involvement in the restorative process. You will support both parties through the various restorative options and will chair face‑to‑face restorative meetings. You will offer training to the wider team and ensure that victim safety and the victim’s voice is heard within risk planning processes.
