Job summary

Connect2Kent, on behalf of Kent County Council (KCC), is recruiting for the South Kent Youth Justice Team in Ashford, covering Ashford, Dover and Folkestone. You will manage a caseload of young offenders, complete assessments, plan interventions and deliver targeted support to meet court orders and care plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in Youth Justice or statutory services.
• Skilled in ASSET Plus and court-related report writing.
• Able to manage complex caseloads.
• Strong communication and partnership-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload and complete assessments, reviews and reports.
• Collaborate across agencies with Probation, Health, Education, Police and families.
• Deliver 1:1 or group interventions to meet care plan targets.
• Maintain accurate records in CAFIS, ASSET and youth justice databases.
• Support Senior Practitioners with development, training and coordination.
• Stay up to date with legislation affecting Young Offending.
