A recruitment agency is seeking a Youth Justice Officer to manage a caseload of youth justice cases in the City of London. This role involves providing effective support and interventions to children and young people to help them live crime-free lives. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with families and other partners. Full-time contract for 6 months at £32.22 per hour.

Youth Justice Officer - Ilford

Contract: 6 months. £32.22 ph Umbrella. Full time.

Overall purpose

To manage a caseload of youth justice cases, both out of court disposals and statutory court orders, according to the National Standards and the HMIP Inspection Framework. With the Child First, Offender Second approach, to provide effective support and interventions to children and young people to complete their disposals / orders and live a crime‑free life. Provide effective communication with children and young people, their families and relevant internal and external partners so as to secure the best outcome for children and young people.
