Job summary

A local housing support organization in Northern Ireland is seeking Youth Housing Workers (Bank) to support young people transitioning to independent living. The role involves providing holistic support, establishing positive relationships, and helping young individuals maintain their tenancy. Ideally, candidates will have experience in a caring role and possess a health & social care qualification. Qualifications

• 3 months' paid experience or 6 months voluntary experience of supporting people in a caring role.
• Ability to practice in line with MACS ethos and values.
• Experience of working in a supported housing or residential environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish positive relationships with young people to create a safe home environment.
• Provide holistic support to all young people accessing the service.
• Work alongside Housing team for practical support.
• Assist young people in transitioning to independent living.
• Ensure young people can maintain their tenancy.
• Provide opportunities for skill development.
