Job summary

A youth support organization in Sheffield is seeking a Project Worker to provide essential support to vulnerable young people aged 16-21 in a residential setting. The successful candidate will work in a team to offer 24-hour support, manage their own caseload, and facilitate the development of life skills. This role requires at least 2 years’ experience in a similar setting and knowledge of safeguarding. Flexible hours including evenings and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with vulnerable young people in a residential setting.
• Experience working in a 24-hour provision.
• Safe guarding knowledge with experience reporting concerns.
• Ability to build meaningful relationships using a strength-based approach.

Responsibilities

• Support young people through goal setting and assessment.
• Deliver structured one-to-one key work sessions.
• Engage young people in developing independent living skills.
• Manage relationships with internal and external agencies.
