Overview

Youth Coach (Job Ref 25-61) – Plymouth House Supported Accommodation

Salary £25,769.57 per annum/pro rata. Permanent contract. Full and part-time hours available with shifts including weekdays 08:00 to 16:00, 14:00 to 22:00, and Sunday 09:00 to 17:00.

Responsibilities

Build trusting, trauma-informed relationships with young people and support them to respond to their needs. Help young people to make decisions, ensure their home is a safe space, and help them have their voice heard to develop their own plan. Support engagement with employment, education, and meaningful occupation opportunities within a person-centred approach. Provide youth work interventions in our new supported accommodation to help young people develop trusted relationships with trained and experienced Youth Coaches.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience or lived experience relevant to youth work is welcome. Ability to listen effectively, respond with sensitivity, and work within a trauma-informed framework. Flexibility to work full or part-time hours as required by the role. Applicants should be able to work across shifts as listed.
