Job summary

All Souls Church, Langham Place in central London seeks a Discipleship Minister for Youth & Children. You will lead the development and implementation of ministry for birth to 18, and line-manage the Children's Worker and Youth Worker.

You will work with the 9:30 Congregation Leader to set priorities, oversee a team of around 60 volunteers, and model gospel-centred ministry in a diverse city. The role is full-time, permanent, 42 hours/week, with a salary of £33,017.50 plus housing allowance from

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and managing volunteer teams
• Experience line-managing paid staff desirable
• Engaging with children/young people and families
• Strong theological grounding; able to teach biblical truth
• Excellent organisational and resource-management skills
• Clear up-front communication; represent ministry well
• Knowledge of safeguarding best practice
• Strong written and verbal communication; IT proficiency
• Experience overseeing children's and youth ministry
• Understanding of child/adolescent faith development
