Young Person's Support Worker - 16-25 year olds

Location: Coventry

Salary: £16.50 per hour

Hours: 37.5 per week

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS - child and adult cleared. On the update service or willing to get one in process asap

Are you passionate about helping young people build brighter futures? We’re looking for a motivated and caring Young Person's Support Worker to join our Coventry team, supporting 16-25-year-olds who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to move towards independent living.

What does a Young Person's Support Worker do?

You’ll work closely with young people to:

  • Create personalised support plans that build confidence, skills, and resilience.
  • Deliver one-to-one and group sessions to develop life skills and prepare for work or education.
  • Support access to safe housing, health services, benefits, and financial stability.
  • Help young people manage tenancies, budgets, and day-to-day challenges.
  • Work alongside local partners to make sure every young person gets the right help at the right time.
About You
  • Experience supporting young people or vulnerable groups in housing, youth work, or social care settings.
  • A calm, empathetic approach and strong communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends.
  • A genuine commitment to equality, inclusion, and positive change.
