A UK recruitment agency is seeking Support Workers to provide vital support to young people with complex needs in various locations across the North East. The role involves working shifts that may include early, late, and night work, with a commitment to high standards of safeguarding and health and safety. Applicants should have at least 12 months of experience in a relevant role and strong IT and communication skills.
Central Recruitment is currently recruiting for Support Workers for a national organisation that houses and supports young people with complex needs. The roles are based in services across the North East region, specifically in the Newcastle upon Tyne - Whitley Bay, Bishop Auckland and Tow Law area.
In this position, candidates are expected to provide effective day to day shift cover that supports the aims of the project, safeguards the young people and provides effective support within a harm minimisation and strengths and recovery framework. Candidates will be working from Monday to Sunday on an ad hoc basis, covering a mixture of early, late and waking night shifts. The pay rate is £12.24 with £1.48 holiday pay, totalling £13.72 per hour. Interested candidates must be available for a minimum of 2 shifts per week across 7 days. Please note, this role involves lone working.
