Job summary

People First Tameside is seeking a part-time role to develop and lead opportunities for younger adults with learning disabilities. The role focuses on building on learning, routine and support from education settings, while creating chances for friendship, socialising, independence and fun within the local community.

You will help young people develop skills, confidence and aspirations and support their transition into adult life.

Job description

Develop and lead opportunities for younger adults with learning disabilities, providing a structured programme that builds on the learning, routine and support they are familiar with from education settings whilst creating opportunities for friendship, socialising, independence and fun. The role will support young people to develop skills, confidence and aspirations, helping them navigate the transition into adult life and their local community.
