A dedicated care provider is looking for a full-time Personal Assistant to support a professional woman in York. The role requires providing personal care, managing household tasks, and may include international travel. Candidates should be positive, patient, and fun-loving with a degree-level education. This is a unique opportunity to work with an inspiring individual while enjoying team dynamics and flexible shifts.
Personal Assistant / PA in York, YO31. A full-time opportunity available to assist a professional young woman, who recently completed a Research Masters and is actively involved with several charitable organisations. £32,000.00 + Gross per Annum.
A few words to describe Eve, inspirational, hardworking, determined with a great sense of humour, Eve has accomplished much, continues to work towards achieving further aspirations and has big plans for her future. A retired Paralympian, Eve recently completed a Masters (Social Policy), and is both a public speaker and presenter; it’s safe to say, she is beyond busy and no two days are the same. Eve speaks at conferences and holds workshops on using AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and living life with a physical disability. Eve has a range of interests and hobbies, travelling, keeping fit, socialising and entertaining. Her team of 5 PA’s provide assistance with day-to-day tasks, and there is an opening for a new member of the team to join.
Eve has a physical disability, is a wheelchair user, and her AAC supports her communication, her PA’s provides 1:1, and at times 2:1 assistance with her personal and professional life, supporting with her personal care, as directed, managing her household, general life admin, cooking, driving, work and study related duties; essentially assisting Eve to live life as she wishes. The role includes sleeping night support (paid as additional overtime), meaning that when on shift you will sleep over at Eve’s home. The rota is provided 4 to 6 weeks in advance and will involve working some weekends. Further information is available on application.
A fun, positive, patient and easy-going, go with the flow PA with a great sense of humour, who likes food and enjoys travelling, sometimes up to 3 weeks at a time for holidays. You will be intuitive, knowing when to step up, or back, and share similar interests to Eve. Personality fit is key for this role, regardless of your background or experience. Training is provided.
