Overview

Responsibilities and Scope

Shift allowance: No shift allowance. The scope of the role is flexible; however, applications are particularly invited from candidates with experience in regulatory work or from those who have strong advocacy skills. Experience of police work is not essential, and we would be interested to hear from candidates with experience in Healthcare Regulatory Cases (GMC, GDC, CQC etc), Health & Safety, and NHS Trust disciplinary proceedings, civil and/or criminal proceedings, employment type proceedings and inquests or similar.

Key Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with 3 years PQE or comparable experience.
  • Has full UK Driving Licence and/or is able to travel around the Force area.
  • Has access to a vehicle and willing to use it for business purposes.
  • Salary: £45,474 - £72,492 (Annual Police Staff Pay Award Pending)
