Year Team and Phonics Leader - About you :

We are seeking to appoint a Full‑time, Year Team and Phonics Leader, initially based in EYFS or KS1 to join our team from January 2026. This vacancy is ideal for a qualified class teacher with previous leadership experience. You will take lead responsibility for :

• Effective planning and delivery of the Year 1 curriculum to ensure progress in line with expectations
• Responsibility for the whole‑school phonics curriculum, ensuring its effective implementation, monitoring teaching quality and analysing pupil progress
• Leading by example, coaching and mentoring colleagues while fostering a collaborative, development‑focused environment
• Ensuring teaching resources are diverse, inclusive, readily available and support the curriculum
• Building positive relationships with the team, parents / carers and the community
• Drive improvements in standards of teaching, learning and achievement for all pupils
