We are working in partnership with a specialist SEN school in Canterbury that is seeking an experienced and compassionate Year 6 Teacher to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This is an ideal opportunity for a teacher who is confident in managing behaviour, building strong relationships and creating a structured yet nurturing learning environment that supports both academic and emotional development.
You will be teaching a small, tailored Year 6 class of pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural support. The school offers a therapeutic and trauma‑informed approach, so patience, resilience and adaptability are key qualities for this role.
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - Essential
Excellent on‑site training, support and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students
170 - 230 per day, Mon‑Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, Term time only

Year 6 Teacher - experienced / confident in KS2 settings
