Year 6 Teacher – Primary School | South Bristol
Start Date: November 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term Placement
Location: South Bristol
Salary: MPS/UPS (Dependent on Experience)

Monarch Education is working in partnership with a large Multi-Academy Trust in South Bristol to recruit an experienced and motivated Year 6 Teacher for a full-time, long-term role starting in November 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-supported school environment with a strong focus on collaboration, pupil progress, and staff development.

About the Role:

You will be leading a Year 6 class through a crucial academic year, preparing pupils for their transition to secondary school. The role includes in-class support from a dedicated Teaching Assistant, allowing you to focus on high-quality teaching and targeted interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Prepare pupils for end-of-year assessments and SATs
  • Monitor and support academic and personal development
  • Work closely with the Teaching Assistant to provide differentiated support
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the MAT to share best practices
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-expectation classroom culture

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
  • Strong understanding of SATs preparation and curriculum requirements
