Milk Education is seeking a Year 4 Teaching Assistant for a primary school in the L4 area of Liverpool. This long-term, temporary role starts immediately and offers ongoing support, training, and development opportunities as part of a supportive school community.

You will work closely with the class teacher to deliver lessons, support pupils, and adapt resources to individual needs. An inclusive, welcoming environment is emphasized, with access to Milk Education’s CPD and wellbeing resources.

We’re currently recruiting for a Year 4 Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in L4 area of Liverpool to support the Year 4 class. This is a long-term, temporary role starting immediately.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Year 4 pupils, responding to their individual needs
• Helping deliver catch‑up sessions to close learning gaps
• Working alongside the class teacher on lesson planning and adapting resources
• Promoting an accepting, inclusive classroom where every student feels they belong

Requirements or Skills:

• Recent experience working in a school or education setting
• A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or similar — or equivalent hands‑on experience
• Comfortable taking direction from the class teacher and working as part of a team

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
