Job Description

Year 4 Teaching Assistant - Saltley, Birmingham

Monarch Education is working with a Primary School in Saltley, Birmingham, to find an experienced Year 4 Teaching Assistant. The role starts in September 2025 and is ongoing. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 3.30pm, and Fridays 8.30am - 1.30pm.

Requirements of Applicant

• Qualification in Childcare or Education
• Strong understanding of the Year 4 curriculum
• Positive, proactive, and adaptable approach to supporting pupils
• Commitment to a safe and inclusive learning environment

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Support delivery of Year 4 curriculum and provide feedback to teachers
• Assist in preparing learning resources and activities
• Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils
• Monitor and track pupil progress, adjusting support as needed
• Assist with classroom management and pupil safety

Salary

£70 - £110 per day (reviewed after 12 weeks)
